With more than ten years of experience, I have a robust background in product development and design, focusing on sheet metal design, fabricated structures, UX design, FEA, CFD, DFA, and DFS.
Throughout my career, I have successfully designed, tested, and launched seven products for the commercial landscaping sector, with manufacturing runs totaling tens of thousands. Additionally, I played a key role in the development and production of four limited-run robotics products, which experienced a tenfold increase in manufacturing volume during my tenure and were deployed across the nation. I led the project for five of these product development initiatives.
My collaborative approach enables me to work alongside and lead cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, testing, software, supply chain, and production professionals. Together, we have strategically outlined product requirements, iterated on designs, tested and refined specifications, and launched products with remarkable efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
Over the course of my career, I've confronted various challenges, such as developing and implementing computer vision systems, designing electric drivetrains, engineering custom lithium-ion batteries, integrating ultrasonic sensor arrays, and managing complex custom electronic systems integrations for PCBAs and cable assemblies.
Leading the development, testing, and qualification of conformal antenna systems for highly demanding aerospace and defense applications. Ensuring structural integrity and performance under extreme environmental conditions.
Led the development of four generations of the Scythe M.52 autonomous electric off-road vehicle. Managed a team of nine engineers to design weatherproof enclosures, camera systems, and mechanical components that withstand extreme conditions while achieving a tenfold increase in production volume.
